When you buy a bird from Blackstump Aviary you can be assured it is handfed and weaned! All of our baby birds are handed fed, weaned, and DNA sexed. We are very proud of our African Grey & Timneh African Grey breeding program. Many of our breeding pairs were hatched, raised and paired right here at Blackstump.
African Grey's make great pets as they are a beautiful sight and can talk, if taught from an early age. We find there are no sexual distinctions in the ability to talk. They require a spacious cage and plenty of toys to play with as they are very intelligent and need mental stimulation.
